Giving

The Foundation participates with a number of other organizations to raise funds to support our mission.  We thank them for allowing us the opportunity to partner with their programs.  In addition, we recognize and thank those who tend to seek us out and give willingly.  Your generosity does not go unnoticed.  We remain responsible stewards of your gifts.

2018 Recognition of Donation

Gino Giannettino, General Manager, presented a check for $19,402 to Superintendent Tom Strickler. ImageFIRST puts education FIRST! Thank you!

Thank You For Your Support

It’s an old cliché, but very apt to repeat…the Foundation could not do what it does without the support and generosity of so many individuals, clubs, organizations and businesses in our community. We value your donations and we work hard and smart to allocate these funds to important programs that enhance the educational experience of the students. Thank you to our Amazon shoppers and Extra-Ordinary Give campaign givers for seeking us out and donating to our cause. And much appreciation to the families and friends of loved ones who have designated contributions in memory and honor of loved ones.

The Foundation is also proud to support the Attollo program. Attollo (Latin for Rise Up!) is a rigorous college access/leadership program founded by the Children Deserve a Chance Foundation. Based on the belief that dreams don’t work unless you do. Attollo Scholars receive the mentorship and resources necessary to triumph as leaders in their schools and their communities. The donations from the Columbia community have enabled no less than 25 juniors and 25 seniors to participate in this program every year, tuition-free. How awesome is that!

Tax-Deductible Donations

The Columbia Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions to the CEF are tax-deductible. The CEF gratefully accepts both personal and business donations.  Donations made In Memory Of or In Honor Of will also be acknowledged with a list of donors provided to the family.
