Annual Golf Outing  –  2025 Golf Outing was held on Friday, July 25th

Since its inception in 2006, the annual CEF Golf Tournament has raised significant dollars that have enabled the Foundation to fund grants to the teachers and staff to support creative and innovative educational programs, technology and supplies beyond what the school district’s budget can provide.  It is always a fun-filled day of golf, goodies, lunch and auction.  Held on the fourth Friday of July each year.  Next year’s outing will be our 20th, to be held on Friday, July 24, 2026.

On July 25, 2025, 132 golfers teed off at 7:30 am to what would be another successful tournament.  Renamed the Rich Gerfin Memorial Golf Outing, we were blessed with great weather, a huge number of volunteers and generous sponsors, donors and golfers.  Because of this, the Foundation raised $19,009.75 that will be used to fund grants to enhance the educational programs and student experiences in the Columbia Borough School District.  Scroll down to see a video montage of the 2025 Golfing event.

Columbian Roast

There are so many individuals in our community who give back without much of any acknowledgment or thanks for what they do.  In the true spirit of Columbia and the fact that we like to have fun in everything we do, the Foundation hosts an annual event in the form of a light-hearted celebrity roast.  All proceeds from this event go toward the funding of Student Scholarships.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and our concerns for proper social distancing, this fundraising event has been postponed.  We are hopeful to return to this event in the near future or another “FUN”raising event.
